Coach Dan's Dedication to Developing Players and Coaches
Coach Dan has dedicated hundreds of hours to mentoring and coaching baseball players, from high school athletes to professional players. Through personalized coaching and baseball clinics, he has worked with some of the top talents and up-and-coming players, helping them refine their skills both on and off the field. Dan’s coaching approach combines technical mastery with a deep commitment to faith, providing a holistic development experience for every athlete.

A model of consistency, Dan understood the science and the art of stealing bases. In 1979, as an unknown he applied the techniques learned in this book to create one of the highest percentages in the College baseball history. In 1980 he had a bullseye on his back and pitchers and catchers attempted to pick him off or pitch out to minimize the speedster. However, he studied harder, worked harder and in the end was able to accomplish a feat no college baseball player has been able to duplicate. He stands alone as the only player to lead the nation two years in a row. 63 stolen bases out of 67 attempts in only 49 games is a 94% success rate and one of the highest in college baseball history.

He can also coach speedsters for your team with individual sessions on base stealing and base running for your whole team or an entire league. He has conducted clinics with the Tampa Bay Rays pitching and hitting coaches for kids ages 9-19. Dan loves kids and is part of a Sports Outreach to the continental US and Puerto Rico, his native heritage.
